First event (date to be announced):  “Insurance Data Analytics from a practitioner’s view” According to a EMEA Insurance data analytics study published by Deloitte (“A little less conversation, a lot more action – tactics to get satisfaction from data analytics“) only 11% felt that the analytics were aligned with their business. Considering that the insurance industry has traditionally been at the forefront of analytics and statistics, this result is surprising. We are very happy that Uri Taiber agreed to speak at this first Insurance Spotlight event. He is a highly experienced practitioner, who ran his own insurance company for twenty years. In 2004 he founded the start-up company InsFocus with the goal to overcome the shortcomings of generic data analytics solutions which often fail to address the specific needs of the insurance industry. Uri will talk about insurance clients’ implementations of the solution and how the challenges to integrate it into existing system- and data-landscapes were tackled.
